All Uganda – Primate and Wildlife Experience

Itinerary Details

On arrival you will be met and transferred to a beautiful boutique hotel set within quiet gardens just outside of town. Spend the rest of your day at leisure and unwind with a swim or simply relax into your surroundings.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park where the Nile carves through the dramatic landscape. Enjoy boat safaris on the river and game drives in the savannahs for a rich introduction to Uganda’s wildlife.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Kasese and continue by road transfer to Kibale National Forest.  You will have lunch at your lodge under the forest canopy.

Accompanied by expert guides you will venture into the forest to search  for and observe these highly intelligent and social primates. Forest walks will deepen your appreciation of this biodiverse rainforest.

A remote and less-visited area, Ishasha is best known for its population of tree-climbing lions, often seen resting in the branches of fig trees during the heat of the day. Open savannah and river habitats support elephant, buffalo, topi and a variety of bird species.

Far from the busier areas of the park, Game drives offer excellent wildlife in a peaceful setting.  A visit to the local community provides valuable insight into the people who live alongside these protected areas, adding an important cultural dimension to your stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic road transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.  Led by experienced trackers, you will hike through dense forest terrain to locate one of the habituated families of mountain gorillas. Spend an hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe, where your journey comes to an end.
